Honestly, it's nothing I haven't read already for free. But I do scour all the free info sites I can find. It seemed there was a lot of fluff in the way of quotes to add bulk to the book. I think she wants to help people, but it doesn't really line out how to go about it. I'm glad it didn't cost a lot.
I really enjoyed Tara's money mindset. I've never looked at my relationship to money in his way. In fact I never looked at money like a relationship. I try not to really think about money. Time to change that!
I'm learning, need a little more time to grasp information.
It's a book that all business owners, creatives, artists and freelancers should read.
If you want to re-frame how your relationship to cash might be keeping you from it, then read on.
If you want to re-vive your work day and understand that passion can bring profit, then read on.
If you need an old school kick in the pants and you'd like it served with optimism as a side dish, then read on.
Don't buy this book if you are looking for a quick fix. It is more an unfolding of revelations than a step by step guide. I recommend it.
Tara's book speaks to creative folks who are interested in making money because they need to and because they want be a beneficial presence in the world. We are interested in what we can do more than what we can acquire or conquer. We want live deliciously and give generously. Tara has experience building a 6 figure business as a creative with a sense of purpose ...so I listen closely to her advice. It rings true and I find it refreshing and unique. I will return to my many highlights in the book as I build my business.
It has been some time since I read something with soul, with real knowledge under the belt, with passion. This ebook is all this and some more.
It hit me right where it I needed it in some passages, I laughed and cried of relief, I faced my own demons and fears, I saw some of the walls I built.
Tara, if you see this... thank you. I needed it.
ok, for everyone else... these might or not be the truths you need to face. If not, it is an easy ride. Grab the book and read it, you will have a good time and learn a thing or two about business and passion playing together - instead of against each other.
The Art of Earning was not groundbreaking for me, as I've worked with a money coach for a few years - and yet, it was still an eye-opener. How is that possible?
Tara frames her words in such a way that you don't really feel like you are reading a book, but engaged in a conversation with her. Pulling advice from others, along with asking us to simply consider various scenarios, puts the reader in a position to willingly and readily receive the information she's providing you, as opposed to 'here are the steps to change your mindset,' which as we all know doesn't go very far when you are actually trying to *understand* the concept in and of itself.
Highly recommended and will probably become the most loaned book on my .
